Ron McCombe is a talented all rounder living near Kelso and with particular specialisms in dry fly and Czech-nymphing.
Grayling Fishing on The Tweed
Grayling fishing on the Tweed is amongst the best in Europe with fish regularlyexceeding 3 lb. The prime season in September to February.
At the end of November grayling fishing is at its peak. Tweed Guide have exclusive access to a private stretch of river fishing 7 days a week
with instruction and all equipment/waders/jackets etc for3 hour or 6 hour sessions.

Trout Fishing Break
2 nights Dinner Bed and Breakfast. All fishing equipment, waders wading jackets etc permits for 2 days.
Day 1 - 3 hours with guide for personal instruction (rest of day on own).
Day 2 -Fish on your own.

Salmon Fishing Break
Available in September, October and November, Sunday to Tuesday.
2 nights Dinner Bed and Breakfast( Sunday and Monday, additional night available at discounted rate of £55 )
All fishing equipment, waders wading jackets etc and permits for 2 days salmon fishing on River Ettrick.
Sunday - Early EveningSpey Casting Instruction1 hour lesson with all equipment.
Monday - Full salmon day with personal guide/instructor.
Tuesday - Fish on your own.
